Everflowing Control is a UW “tap out” Control deck that runs zero counter spells in the main. Instead it’s objective is to gain CA and eventually control over the game by increasing its resources through ramping with Everflowing Chalice and Knight of the White Orchid/Fieldmist Boarderpost to move into stage 3 as quickly as possible.

Josh is an aggro player to the core; his fast and loose playing style really allows for little else. Plus he doesn’t like to think too much and enjoys eating lunch, luxuries very rarely found when playing a control deck. He also has a thing for angels.
With the current standard environment beginning the transition back to the Jund infested meta we all remember from a couple months ago, we’ll need to begin adjusting our decks accordingly. It seems people momentarily forgot Jund is a good deck. Maybe everyone was just that sick of Jund. Or possibly they believed Worldwake would bring new cards to the format letting other strategies emerge that could beat Jund decks on a consistent basis. It’s true as a result of Worldwake some great new decks like Boss Naya, and UW Control were created, and other archetypes like Vampires, Eldrazi Green, Boros, and RDW received power ups. But unfortunately, the fact of the matter is, Jund is still dominating the format.
